If you aren't already familiar with it, the Road to California is a huge wonderful week-long quilt convention and show held each January at the Ontario Convention Center in Southern California. Classes for all skill levels and techniques are scheduled Monday, January 15, through Sunday, January 22. The quilt show -- which takes an entire day to walk -- is held Thursday, January 19, through Sunday January 22.
I attended for the first time this past January, and treated Mom to the hotel and a Beginner Machine Quilting class (with the incredibly talented and patient Mickey Depre) for her Christmas/Mother's Day gift. I can't wait to go again in January! I don't see Mickey's name noted on the faculty list, but they're still adding folks, so I certainly hope Mickey will be back again in January.
And, I just remembered that I never posted all the incredible photos I took this year, so I'll work on getting those online this week.
